The beloved actor and comedian passed at the age of 65.

On Sunday night, actor and comedian Bob Saget, who was best known as the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos and Danny Tanner on Full House, was found unresponsive in his hotel room at the the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office was called, and Saget was pronounced dead at the scene. At time of writing, the precise cause of death has not been released, though initial reports from the Sherriff’s Office have ruled out external factors such as drugs or assault. Saget was 65 years old.

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter,” Saget’s family said in a statement. “Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

Following the announcement of Saget’s passing, many longtime members of the acting and comedy communities came forth to express their condolences and reminisce on their time with him.

“I am broken,” tweeted John Stamos, one of Saget’s co-stars on Full House. “I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”

“Bob Saget was as lovely a human as he was funny,” tweeted TV producer Norman Lear. “And to my mind, he was hilarious. We were close friends and I could not have loved him more.”

“BOB… it was great to know you… Oh are you going to make God blush,” tweeted fellow sitcom star Henry Winkler.
