Sunday, Feb. 2 will once again mark the annual celebration of one of America’s favorite pastimes – football.

The Kansas City Chiefs will square off against the San Francisco 49ers at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

According to CBS Sports, this game will highlight the best defense in the league (49ers) going up against some of the league’s best offense (Chiefs).

CBS Sports notes some of the Chiefs’ best offensive players, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce. Mahomes follows in the athletic footsteps of his father, Pat Mahomes, who was an MLB pitcher.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan also makes family and NFL history as his father was also the offensive coordinator for the 49ers during their 1994 championship, before leading the Denver Broncos to victory in 1997 and 1998. CBS calls running back Raheem Mostert the “focal point” of Shanahan’s offensive strategy.

This will be the Chiefs’s first time playing in the Super Bowl in 50 years. This will be the 49ers’ seventh time in the Super Bowl. If the 49ers win this year, they will tie the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for the highest number of Super Bowl victories.

Shakira and J. Lo will share the stage at halftime. Demi Lovato is set to sing the national anthem before the game.

Kickoff is at 6:30 PM EST.
