Either sell it back or eat it all yourself.

Now that Halloween has been over for several days, you could be one of the many Americans who are still finding trails – or even entire bowls – of candy around the house. If you live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, you have at least one easy option. Will Family Chiropractic is urging residents with extra candy to participate in their candy buy-back program.

This is the second year Will Family Chiropractic has done this, beginning the day after Halloween. Employees will give you $1 per every pound of candy you bring in, up to 5 pounds. Once they have their candy donations, the company will box it up and send it off to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization that supports deployed U.S. troops and first responders through care packages.

The organization says over the next few weeks, they expect to receive more than 500,000 pounds of candy from local organizations and businesses across the U.S.

“We know that sugar negatively affects our immune system, so we wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to the troops, but also help our kids and our families as we head into the holiday season,” Quinn Will of Will Family Chiropractic told KJRH.

The company will also give you a raffle ticket for each pound of candy you bring so you can win some prizes right before the holidays. You do not have to be present to win. Tomorrow will be the last day the chiropractic accepts candy donations.
