My, what an interesting little world we live in.

A man in a smart car was pulled over for speeding in Pasco County in Florida a few days after Halloween. That may not sound particularly interesting, except that the car was decked out to look like it was made of wood and have stone rollers for wheels. Yep, it’s a foot-mobile. And who would be driving a foot-mobile but good ol’ Fred Flintstone. As it turns out, Mr. Flintstone was speeding, and when he had to be detained, he became extremely unruly and had to be written up.

Joking aside, the man in the costume, Don Swartz, was speeding, but when the sheriff pulled him over, he was laughing too hard to give him a ticket. The two of them staged “Mr. Flintstone’s unruly arrest” as a good-natured joke for a selfie opportunity, and Swartz was let off with a simple warning. No idea why he was still in costume four days after Halloween, but give him points for commitment to the character.
