Wrestling is coming to Netflix, but only in biopic form. The streaming company is producing a new movie about wrestler Hulk Hogan, covering his rise to prominence in the World Wrestling Federation back in the 1980s.
All the way back in 2013, Hogan identified Chris Hemsworth as his preference for the actor to depict him. At the time, Hogan was working on producing a biopic about himself, though he doesn’t seem to be involved in the new project, at least not as a producer.
I guess this is just one of those cases of putting something out into the universe and getting what you wanted. So let me just put it out into the universe that I would love for Zac Efron to play me in the movie about my life. I really think that’s going to work out for me.
