Ye plans to boycott Coachella until Eilish apologizes for slighting Travis Scott.

Last week, during a concert in Atlanta, singer/songwriter Billie Eilish temporarily paused the show when she noticed a fan in the audience having what appeared to be an asthma attack. She asked the stage crew to quickly bring the fan an inhaler and waited until she was okay to resume the show, saying “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going.”

While no names were dropped, many have assumed this comment was intended to be a shot at rapper Travis Scott, who is still under criminal investigation for the 10 crowd crush deaths that occurred during his show at Astroworld back in November. Scott still maintains that he wasn’t aware that anyone was hurt during the show, in spite of testimony that fans shouted at him to stop and he continued anyway.

This morning, rapper Kanye West, also known as Ye, posted a demand to his Instagram that Eilish apologize for her comments, implying that he wouldn’t attend this year’s Coachella music festival until she did.

“Come on Billie we love you please apologise to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives no one intended this to happen,” he wrote.

“Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologise before I perform.”

In response to Ye’s post, Eilish wrote, “Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan.”
