Patriots star Quarterback Tom Brady has said that he has trained his body for playing past 40 years old, an age at which most football players have retired. His training has been built around longevity, including incorporating pliability training into his regimen. He even says he has made himself “calloused” to hard hits, saying that he feels hits – and pain generally – less now than he did in his 20s.

Considering the amount of money Brady makes as the Patriots QB, it’s not surprising that he would want to last as long as possible. It’s estimated that he has made around $200 million in his position up to this point, with no specific end date of his career in sight. Though his current contract ends at the end of the 2019 season, it’s expected that he will sign a new one after that.
