The Korean K-POP group BTS released their first movie on November 15 and is already breaking some box office records with their new movie “Burn The Stage.” The documentary premiered in more than 70 countries that is about their 2017 world tour.

The movie is said to give a backstage look behind the K-POP sensation BTS. The distributor of the film reports pre-premiere ticketing of the film topped 940,000 tickets, which is a lot for a film that is based off of a YouTube series.

Last year’s tour sold over 550,000 tickets worldwide for forty concerts, proving that they have quite the large fan-base. The movie is also reported to have surpassed One Direction, breaking global event cinema record.
