Trey Parker and Matt Stone have signed a $900 million deal with ViacomCBS.

While the long-running adult animated series South Park has received several multi-part specials, it’s only had a single theatrically-released film, that being 1999’s South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. Thanks to a newly-inked deal with MTV Entertainment Group, and by extension ViacomCBS, the series’ creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will have the opportunity to expand that repertoire fourteen times over.

This new contract, which carries a price tag of $900 million, stipulates that Parker and Stone will create a grand total of fourteen new South Park-themed films, two per year, exclusively for streaming on ViacomCBS’ Paramount+ streaming service, with the first to come out later this year. In addition, the deal has renewed the regular South Park series through season 30, with its 25th season to launch in 2022.

“Franchising marquee content like South Park and developing new IP with tremendous talent like Matt and Trey, is at the heart of our strategy to continue growing Paramount+,” MTV Entertainment Group’s entertainment chief Chris McCarthy said in a statement.

“Comedy Central has been our home for 25 years and we’re really happy that they’ve made a commitment to us for the next 75 years,” said Parker and Stone in a statement. “When we came to ViacomCBS with a different way to produce the show during the pandemic, Chris (McCarthy), Nina (Diaz), Keyes (Hill-Edgar) and Tanya (Giles) were immediately supportive and enabled us to try something new that turned out to be really well received. We can’t wait to get back to doing traditional South Park episodes but now we can also try out new formats. It’s great to have partners who will always take a chance with us.”
