It’s not a buffalo wing festival, if you were wondering.

If you’ll be around Buffalo this weekend, you’ll be able to enjoy the Totally Buffalo Festival. The big difference this year is that the celebration will extend for another day this weekend, instead of just being one day like it has been in the past.

Scott, one of the organizers of Totally Buffalo, said, “Instead of Saturday, we’re doing Saturday and Sunday from 11-5.” But the timeframe isn’t the only thing that’s different.

“We have a bigger area now, too. We have the floor space at Buffalo Riverworks, but we also have the space outside on the field, which is covered. But outdoors, we’re going to have a bunch of interactive activities – both for adults and for kids. We’ll have big obstacle courses, giant slides, and bouncy houses for the kids. So it’s all encompassing,” Scott explained.

The vendors are also major points of attraction. One of the interesting components of the festival is custom signage. These signs are actually made during the festival and can be custom-created to showcase a family name, cottage name, or a welcome sign for somebody’s front porch.

At Totally Buffalo, there will be a plethora of activities including watching well-trained dogs perform tricks to eating a Totally Buffalo sundae.

Admission is $5 for everyone over five years of age, and children under that get in free.
