This is what all those hours on House of the Dead in the arcade were for.

Nashville is being infiltrated by a zombie apocalypse, but it’ll only last for two days. These zombies are sure to test your survival skills and get your heart racing!

“It’s a live action tactical experience,” said Nashville Nightmare General Manager William Steed. “Basically laser tag with zombies.”

The creators of Nashville’s Nightmare Haunted House are hoping to bring more excitement to your life with an experience that’s quite out of the ordinary.

Steed says, “We definitely always go for the small details to make you feel like you’re in a real experience, like you’re in a movie or a video game.”

The entire experience is 80,000 square feet. Once you step foot inside, you’ll find yourself in a maze battling zombies.

“It’s family friendly, we have smaller kids come with their parents,” said Steed. “We have a lot of military and police officers who like to come to this event. They really get into it.”

The event is part of the 13th Floor Entertainment Group, known for their award-winning set design, realistic costumes, makeup and special effects. You’re encouraged to bring your most daring friends, since the apocalypse will only be in Nashville for this weekend.
