Cities all over the country are reporting lower gas prices for Thanksgiving weekend, compared to last year’s price. In Wisconsin they are reporting low gas prices that are 10 cents less compared to last year’s price.

Gas stations in Milwaukee are reporting prices as low as $2.29 per gallon. According to AAA, the average price of gas has decreased by 25 cents since October with the average price of $2.62 on Monday. Indications have analysts predicting prices should dip to $2.57 per gallon by Thanksgiving on Thursday.

These are good prices compared to Thanksgiving weekend since 2014 with customers paying $2.79 per gallon. In 2014 the rise in gas prices was a tactic used to dissuade drivers from travelling by road for the holiday.

AAA reports that more than 49 million Americans will be one the roads travelling for this holiday. Though this may not help the traffic situation, this will greatly help everyone who is travelling for the holiday.
