There may be a little time left before Captain Marvel debuts in theaters, but Marvel fans are not wasting any time.

Presale tickets for the movie are indicating that Marvel (now owned by Disney) may have another big hit on its hands. Fandango is saying that the presale numbers for Captain Marvel are right behind Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther. That’s pretty good company to keep, considering that they’re two of the highest grossing movies ever. The film has already passed DC’s two biggest presale records: Aquamanand Wonder Woman.

Captain Marvel has some heavy weight on its shoulders. It’s the final Marvel film before Avengers: Endgame comes out just a month and a half later, and it’s expected the former will lead into the latter. If it doesn’t stick the landing it could spoil the big Avengers resolution.

It’s also considered to be the first film of the next phase of Marvel movies, since the current one is set to wrap up with Endgame. It’s up to Captain Marvel to show that the MCU can continue to spur new ideas and new heroes after the current ones retire.

Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson, Jude Law, and Samuel L. Jackson hits theaters on March 8th.
